AI Consulting for Operations-Heavy Businesses
Most AI consulting engagements fail for a simple reason: they start with the technology instead of the business. A model gets built, a pilot gets demoed, and six months later nothing has changed about how the company actually runs. AI Cubed works in the opposite direction. We start with your P&L and your team's calendar, find the workflows that quietly cost you the most, and only then decide whether AI is the right tool — and which kind.
We are a boutique AI consulting firm built for owners of operations-heavy businesses who do not want a research project. They want fewer manual hours, faster turnaround, and systems that keep working after we leave.

What AI consulting actually means here
AI consulting is the work of figuring out where artificial intelligence actually earns its place in a specific business — then designing, building, and operationalizing it. Done well, it spans three disciplines: operations analysis (where is time lost?), systems design (what should the workflow look like?), and implementation (making it run reliably with real data and real people).
Many firms only do the first third — they hand you a strategy deck and an invoice. Others only do the last third — they will build whatever you ask, even if it is the wrong thing. We do all three, because the value only shows up when a working system changes a daily routine.
Where AI consulting helps fastest
- Repetitive document handling — intake forms, contracts, claims, invoices, onboarding paperwork.
- Communication overhead — drafting, triaging, routing, and following up on email and messages.
- Data entry and reconciliation between systems that do not talk to each other.
- Scheduling, dispatching, and coordination that depends on one person's head.
- Reporting that someone rebuilds by hand every week or month.
These are not glamorous problems, which is exactly why they persist. They are also where the time savings show up fastest and most clearly.
Our engagement model
We work in five phases. The first three are an advisory engagement you can commission on its own — they end with documentation you keep regardless of who builds anything afterwards. The last two are where our in-house engineers take over, which is the point at which most consultancies hand you a roadmap and leave.
- Discovery — We sit with the operation, follow the handoffs, and interview the people doing the work. Every recurring process gets a time and cost attached to it.
- Documentation — We write down how the work actually happens — not how the org chart says it does. This alone removes the key-person dependency in most operations.
- Roadmap — What's worth building, in what order, at what cost, against what return — including what we'd advise you not to build.
- Implementation — Our engineers build it — custom, integrated with the tools you already run, tested against real data rather than a tidy demo.
- Run — We keep the systems running as volume grows, with one point of accountability. The phase most providers skip.
Each phase produces something concrete: an operational audit, an SOP library and process maps, a costed roadmap, working systems, then monitoring. Senior people stay involved throughout, because the value only appears when a working system changes a daily routine.
How we structure the commercial side
We keep the commercial side simple, with two ways to work together depending on who should own the system at the end.
- Custom build — a one-time engagement where we design and build the system and you own the software outright. Best when the work is specific to your operation.
- Bespoke licensing — we build and operate a reusable system and license it to you on a retainer that covers monitoring and iteration. Best when the value comes from us running and improving it over time.
We price every engagement against the time and money it saves, and we walk you through the numbers on a discovery call before you commit to anything.
Who we are the right fit for
We work best with established businesses where operational inefficiency has a real dollar cost — typically owner-led companies in healthcare, real estate, and professional services. If you are pre-revenue and looking to bolt a chatbot onto a landing page, we are probably not your firm. If you are drowning in manual operations and want them fixed, we are.
